Within the framework of combating the unauthorized connection to JSC “MOESK” electric grids, there were issued 1 520 reports on electrical energy consumption without concluding a contract. The total of 549.2 mn kWh worth of RUR 2.8 billion was consumed without concluding a power supply contract. Since the beginning of last year, JSC “MOESK” bank accounts have been credited with RUR 243.6 mn in payment for the electrical energy consumption without concluding a contract, which was previously identified.

The largest volume of electrical energy consumption without concluding a contract was registered in the north of the Moscow Region. In the south of the Region there was registered the lowest volume of electrical energy consumption without metering and the largest volume of electrical energy consumption without concluding a contract at the same time. Unauthorized connection to electric grids and electrical energy consumption without concluding a contract is the least prevalent practice in the east of Greater Moscow Area.

Moscow Central Administrative District accounts for the largest volume of electrical energy consumption without metering and concluding a contract. Souther Administrative District accounts for the lowest volume of electrical energy consumption without metering and Northern Administrative District accounts for the lowest volume of electrical energy consumption without concluding a contract.

JSC “MOESK” specialists keep reminding the citizens that the invoiced consumed electrical energy should be paid for in due time, which particularly concerns the electrical energy consumption in breach of energy metering regulations as well as consumption without concluding a contract with the supplying company. In this case, according to Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 442 dated May 4, 2012, consumers have to pay not for the actual consumption volume but for the electrical energy volume calculated according to the formula specified in the Order. And this volume is usually several times more than the actual consumption volume.
